Project Brief:
Temane Power Plant is a major energy infrastructure project designed to support Mozambique’s growing electricity demand through a modern gas-to-power facility. Strategically located in Inhambane Province, the plant utilizes domestic gas resources to deliver reliable and sustainable power. The project is a cornerstone of the country’s energy development strategy.
Scope of Work by KSA Electric:
KSA Electric was entrusted with the complete mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning of several critical systems, including:
Gas Pipeline System:
Installation of the high-pressure gas piping network, ensuring safe and efficient gas delivery to the turbines.
Storage Tanks:
Erection and commissioning of fuel and auxiliary storage tanks, meeting stringent safety and quality standards.
Balance of Plant (BoP):
Mechanical and electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of the following auxiliary systems:- – Water treatment and cooling systems
- – Fuel and lubrication systems
- – Compressed air and instrument air systems
- – Firefighting and fire protection systems
- – Electrical auxiliary systems
- – HVAC and ventilation systems
- – Pipe racks and steel supports
- – Building services and utility systems
This project reflects KSA Electric’s capability to deliver comprehensive and high-quality installation works in complex power generation projects, in coordination with international EPC contractors.
